Doris Kanewski is the founder and owner of Just Taxes, a local business and has been assisting it's clients with their tax and financial needs since 1993. Doris Kanewski is an Enrolled Agent and in addition, holds a degree in business/accounting from Switzerland. She has over 30 years of experience in accounting and the banking industry (investment and lending side).

An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a federally authorized tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation and is empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for audits, collections and appeals.

Only Enrolled Agents, attorneys and Certified Public Accountants (CPAS) may represent taxpayers before the IRS. Enrolled Agents are the only taxpayer representatives who receive their right to practice from the U.S. government and able to practice in all 50 states. (CPAS and attorneys are licensed by the states).
